Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the BPO sector, with a focus on selling services to business clients in North America. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of driving business growth and expanding our client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and target clients in North America.
    • Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize key accounts and industries to focus on for business development.
  • Client Acquisition:

    • Identify and engage with prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation:

    • Prepare compelling business proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of potential clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Account Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and service delivery, to ensure seamless execution of client services.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales within the BPO sector, with a focus on North American markets.
  • Strong understanding of BPO services and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
  • Strong closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
