● Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Rebalancing – accuracy of calculations and dealing instructions. Following the rebalancing process with all necessary documentation signed and sent to the correct departments.
  • Portfolio requests – producing comparison reports designed for analysis and promoting TRC model portfolios.
  • Monthly deadline/tasks – Asset outlook, pinnacle, and portfolio returns either emailed to clients or saved to the work drive.
  • Weekly tasks – weekly market re-cap, monitoring of requests from advisers, and Adobe sign reminders.
  • General Adviser requests – research and construction of bespoke portfolios outside of TRC models, producing snapshots, portfolio graphs, and valuations.
  • Other – Research for model portfolios, ensuring the master list is updated.

1. Consistency – ensuring ongoing high-quality work and always meeting the role’s metrics.

2. Accurate – to have zero errors on dealing forms.

3. Detailed Orientated - attention to detail on all work, supervisor should not be picking up errors.

4. Time Management – all tasks and deadlines are met.

5. Communication – ensuring all nuances of work completed is communicated with the relevant departments and clients so as to manage expectations.

6. Model Portfolio Performance – all models to be in line or exceed their respective benchmarks.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or CFA designation is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in investment analysis, financial research, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and investment strategies.
  • Proficient in using Spreadsheet
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiar in using financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, financial databases).
