Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and manage payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare and send out invoices to clients, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company.
- Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
