Bookkeeper
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assists in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensures compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Process payroll, including calculating and recording employee salaries, deductions, and benefits.
- Assists with administrative tasks related to financial management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must have proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role for over 5 years experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dean Works) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
