Bookkeeper

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assists in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensures compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Process payroll, including calculating and recording employee salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assists with administrative tasks related to financial management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must have proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role for over 5 years experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dean Works) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
