Job Description

  • Data Entry: Accurately input data into the company’s systems and databases, ensuring the correct information is captured. Data may include customer details, financial records, inventory, and other business information.
  • Data Verification: Review and verify entered data for accuracy. Correct any discrepancies or errors in the data to ensure the integrity of the company’s records.
  • Updating Records: Regularly update databases with new information as it becomes available. Maintain and organize data systematically to ensure easy retrieval.
  • File Management: Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems. Organize and categorize files to ensure easy access and retrieval.
  • Compliance: Follow data protection and confidentiality policies to safeguard sensitive information. Ensure that data entry procedures comply with company guidelines and relevant legal regulations.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other team members or departments to gather missing or incomplete information. Communicate with supervisors to report any issues or delays in data entry tasks.
  • Reporting: Generate routine reports based on entered data, such as summaries, lists, or other required outputs. Assist in data analysis tasks when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree. Additional certification in data entry, IT, or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a data entry role or administrative position is preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.
  • Skills:
    • Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
    • Proficiency in data entry software, databases, and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Adobe & Google Sheets).
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
